    Introduction
Our mission is guided by three commitments: to each learner as an individual, as a member of families and communities, and to the Earth.
    Area's of Speciality
The Trillium Charter School is looking to open September 2010 starting classes K-4.  Every year thereafter growing until grade 8.

Commitment to Individual Learners:
We believe that children's natural curiosity and desire to participate in their communities should guide their learning. In order to encourage this, we use engaging and authentic approaches such as experiential learning, project-based learning, interdisciplinary studies, outdoor education, and a high level of student voice in decision-making. We also believe that every individual possesses many strengths and that each strength is essential to our community. Our school supports all types of growth and development, including academic, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Multiage classrooms, small class sizes, non-violent communication, and positive discipline are also key elements of our learning environment.

We acknowledge that every learner is a member of families and multiple communities. On the family level, we understand the importance of family in each child's development, and encourage a high level of family participation in learning. On the community level, we stress the interdependence of al

EVENTS:

Silent Auction

Saturday May 9th, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the Hampton Inn Flemington.

Join us for the evening to support our Foundation and the Trillium Charter School. Bid on a variety of items while enjoying complimentary wine, beer (provided by The Ship Inn), and hors d'oeuvres.

Tickets are $20 at the door. Order tickets in advance for only $15 each by sending your check, made out to the Trillium Foundation for Education and Sustainability, to PO Box 672, Flemington, NJ 08822.

Public Information Nights

The public information nights give you a chance to come talk to us about any of the work we're doing. Meetings are held in the Hunterdon County Library on Route 12 in the seating area near the main staircase on the basement level. If you have any questions or would like to talk to us, just stop by anytime between 7:00pm and 8:45pm.
